Justing Reich and Beth Holland's article in Mind Shift identifies the core challenge in teacher professional development when it comes to educational technology. For technology to make a difference in the classroom, all areas of instruction must go though a transformation. Even the best professional development can't completely prepare teachers for the first day when 30 students will arrive, each with a device in hand.
